Part three of the Great Turning sermon series brings us to the challenging yet joyful space of ‘faith”. Faith is often thought of as one dimensional or naive, especially in our tradition which values and emphasizes reason and rationality. But we also know that Unitarian Universalism has a rich tradition of placing faith in the unknown – whether that be dissenting from the old ways of the Christian church, or even paving a new way in our societal structures. In today’s world, in the midst of perilous times and chaos, what does it mean to hold faith? What role does faith have in This Great Turning?
